Wild Birds of Ontario: A Hands-On Nature Session for Junior Adventurers
An Interactive Journey Into Ontario’s Wild Birds: Explore, Learn, and Get Curious with the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre
Join Patty McLaughlin, Education Program Manager, for a dynamic and interactive wild bird experience on February 28th. Discover how the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre cares for more than 3,000 injured and orphaned birds each year through real artifacts, captivating photos, and incredible rehabilitation stories.
Learn about the most common wild bird encounters families and outdoor enthusiasts experience across Ontario, and how to support birds safely and responsibly.
PLUS – Enjoy a special focus on owls and what makes them extraordinary hunters, then dive into an owl pellet dissection and an owl-themed craft station where junior avion ambassadors can create their own take-home masterpiece!

20 Minute Camping Dishes Made Easy.
Join Lynne Jenkerson for a flavour-forward cooking demo that brings creativity and ease to your campsite kitchen! Learn how a few everyday ingredients can come together to create warm, garlicky potatoes paired with a smooth, homemade-style aioli — an easy, crowd-pleasing side that fits perfectly into any camping menu!
Lynne will also highlight simple ways to transform a creamy cheese dip base and vibrant jellies into elevated bites ideal for snacking or sharing around the campfire. Guests are welcome to enjoy samples throughout the demo!

Experience Tesla live at this year’s Ottawa RV Expo & Sale.
Tesla will deliver a fully immersive showcase, featuring two exciting vehicles at the EY Centre where guests can connect directly with Tesla representatives and explore the innovation, performance, and design that continue to redefine electric mobility.
Guests will also have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Tesla Cybertruck through on-site test drives — offering a firsthand experience of its capability, advanced technology, and unmistakable presence.
